A 34-year-old man was killed overnight on the Near West Side in what police are calling a drive-by shooting. Randall Ewing, of the 9900 block of South Throop Street, was shot at about 3 a.m. on the 900 block of West Lake Street in the West Town neighborhood. Ewing was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at about 3:40 a.m., the medical examiners office said. There were no other details available. ...
