A reputed drug cartel member who was wanted by Riverhead Police was arrested in town Sunday after fleeing on foot from the scene of a car crash in the downtown area, authorities said. Abington Assault … Anthony Ayala, of the 8300 block of Williams Avenue, Philadelphia, was charged with simple assault, police said. Ayala was following a man on Easton Road in Glenside after asking for money and cigarettes June 6 at 11:21 p.m., to which the victim replied he had neither, according to police. Ayala then punched the victim on the right side of his jaw, police said.
